Huronia Heights is a private residential and seasonal community located in Worth Township, Sanilac County, Michigan, along the shores of Lake Huron.

Originally developed as a summer resort area in the 1930s, the community has a long history of providing a peaceful lakeside setting for property owners and their families. Huronia Heights was later formally incorporated as Huronia Heights, Inc. on July 30, 1959, establishing the structure for governance and long-term stewardship of the neighborhood.

Our Organization

Huronia Heights operates as a nonprofit corporation, Huronia Heights, Inc., consisting of all property owners within the subdivision. Membership is automatic with property ownership, and all members are governed by the association’s bylaws.

The organization is managed by an all volunteer elected Board of Trustees, which is responsible for:

• Overseeing community operations and finances

• Maintaining shared services and responsibilities

• Enforcing bylaws and community rules

• Supporting the overall welfare of the neighborhood

Our Purpose

The purpose of the association is to promote the welfare and long-term sustainability of the community. This includes:

These responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the association’s bylaws and applicable Michigan law.
